On behalf of a fellow student at Tufts University, I took on the challenge of redesigning the Tufts Grad Student Council logo for a competition. The goal was to create a more dynamic and contemporary version of their iconic elephant mascot. I embraced this direction by designing the elephant using a variety of shapes and utilizing negative space to define its form. This approach aimed to bring a fresh and engaging twist to the traditional mascot design. Additionally, I incorporated a subtle detail where the shapes loosely spell out “GSC,” adding an extra layer of meaning to the logo.
